This week in our Next Generation in Cellular Agriculture series I had the pleasure of talking with New Harvest Research Fellow Stephanie Kawecki. Stephanie is a Ph.D. student in Bioengineering at UCLA and she is doing fascinating work on culturing meat and fat with Dr. Amy Rowat. For a UCLA alumni and current lecturer like myself, this is exciting on so many levels as we both hope to generate more interest in cellular agriculture at UCLA and make it the next proper research hub in the field.
